EngSolvers was co-founded by António Berberan and Sandro Batista in 2004.
EngSolvers develops engineering software and provides specialist expertise in structural, geodetic and geotechnical deformation monitoring.
Our flagship product, Epoch-Suite, is an integrated software environment for managing monitoring campaigns, importing and validating observations, performing geodetic network adjustments, analysing deformation over time and producing engineering reports and CAD-ready outputs.
EngSolvers combines scientific research in geodesy, photogrammetry and robust adjustment with practical experience in monitoring complex structures. Our technology and methodologies have been applied to dams, tunnels, bridges, subways, retaining structures and other infrastructure and geotechnical environments.
Since its foundation, EngSolvers has focused on one core challenge: helping engineers transform monitoring observations into reliable information about how structures move and behave over time.
Co-Founder
Expert in dimensional monitoring, geodetic and laser scanning systems, and network design for complex structures. Author of multiple peer-reviewed studies on outlier detection, robust estimation, and dam-safety monitoring (Survey Review 1995; Civil Engineering Surveyor 2009; HYDRO 2007).
Co-Founder
Geographic Engineer and technology entrepreneur with a background in scientific software, geospatial technology and product development. Sandro co-founded EngSolvers in 2004 and contributed to the development of Epoch-Suite, combining software engineering with geodetic and structural monitoring. He is also Co-founder and Managing Partner of Focus BC and Co-founder of Virtual Venue.
EngSolvers continues to evolve Epoch-Suite and its monitoring technology around the principles that have guided the company since its foundation: scientific rigor, reliable engineering workflows and long-term data integrity.
